snares Trophy for Best White Blend

Truffle Hill Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2009 has taken out the Best White Blend Trophy at the 2010 RSM Bird Cameron Timber Towns Regional Wine Show.

2010 RSM Bird Cameron Timber Towns Regional Wine Show, covering the Manjimup, Pemberton and Blackwood Valley regions, highlighted the strength of the 2009 vintage for Sauvignon Blanc from Truffle Hill with both the Truffle Hill Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2009 and the Truffle Hill Sauvignon Blanc 2009 awarded silver medals.

As well as the Pemberton Pure Rainforest Water Trophy for Best White Blend (Class 4) five other Truffle Hill Wines, including the Truffle Hill Reserve Riesling 2009 and the Truffle Hill Reserve Shiraz 2008, picked up bronze medals.

“It’s very exciting to win the Trophy for Best White Blend,” commented Mark Aitken, Truffle Hill Wines winemaker. “The areas that the the show covers produce high quality Sauvignon Blanc and 2009 was a great vintage so to come out on top was a thrill and a testament to the focus we have on producing quality wines.”
