Truffles: an affordable luxury

The Wine & Truffle Co produces Superior Perigord black truffles, which are known the world over as a rare and expensive gourmet delicacy. While it is true that truffles are rare, they are not as expensive as we are led to believe. Truffles do not  need to be purchased by the kilo, and you generally only require around 10grams of truffle per person per dish, making them a perfectly affordable delicacy.

Since we began cultivating Superior Perigord black truffles in 1997, our truffle production has grown exponentially from 600 kilograms in 2008 to a predicted 2.5 tonnes by the end of the upcoming season and we expect to be producing at a commercial level to satisfy growing export demand.

The Wine & Truffle Co is located at Seven Day Road in the South-West town of Manjimup on 53 hectares of picturesque, undulating land surrounded by Karri and Jarrah forests.
