Our very own French Perigord Truffles were sent to France to be served to guests at the Australian Embassy in Paris for a prestigious historical dinner on 25 June.

A team of Le Cordon Bleu students were present to assist Chef Tony Bilson in the preparation and organisation of the event.

With the truffle season quickly approaching, truffle hunters are getting ready for the annual pursuit of the delicacy and it’s not just chefs taking note.

With the truffle season approaching excitement is slowly creeping under people’s skin and buzz about the Western Australian truffle season is starting in the media around the world. 

Finding unique tourist activities to partake in can be a tough ask. Most major cities offer adventure parks and guided tours sure, but if you’re after something that little bit different it can be a tad more difficult. Sometimes you have to venture off the beaten track to find something truly unique.

Well it doesn’t get much more off the beaten track than a gourmet truffle hunt tour for two at The Wine and Truffle Co just outside Pemberton for only $99! Now in case you’re confused, this isn’t some kind of delayed Easter ritual – you’ll be hunting the rare, valuable and incredibly tasty truffle that grows underground. Truffle tours run from June through to August each year and you’ll join The Wine and Truffle Co’s team of truffle hunting dogs as they spend two and a half hours sniffing out the best truffles that the area has to offer.

They say a change is as good as a rest! However, we can assure you, we rest not, and in recent weeks we have undergone quite a makeover. They also say, a change for the better is good for the soul, and we are happy to announce that the heart and soul of The Wine and Truffle Co has taken on a new lease of life and looks 10 years younger! Can’t say that for the staff though.....sshh – they’re out hunting truffles.

The Wine & Truffle Co's picturesque Manjimup grounds are now available for weddings and receptions. The scenic grounds are surrounded by Karri and Jarrah forests, providing the perfect tranquil setting for your special day. 

The Wine & Truffle Co recently received the highest accolade from someone who knows truffles the world-over best. Commonly referred to as ‘the gourmet food and truffle pope’ of Germany, Ralf Boss was taken aback by the outstanding quality of truffles produced by The Wine & Truffle Co.

Close to 1500 visitors descended upon Manjimup around mid-March, ready for The West Australian Great WA Bike Ride.

Some arrived ahead of time to explore the exciting attractions and rural scenery that Manjimup has to offer.   This included of course, the Wine and Truffle Cafe, where visitors enjoyed a gourmet truffle lunch right here in Manjimup.
