We are very excited to announce that Andy will attend the Truffle Affaire on Sunday 30 May and give us his thoughts on the precious black truffle.
As one of the head chef’s for Melbourne’s award winning restaurant Vue de monde, Andy Harmer is responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen and oversees events and cooking classes held outside of the restaurant.  Andy also works closely with the chefs in all the Vue venues (Bistro Vue, Café Vue at 401 St Kilda Rd and Café Vue at Heide) to articulate the vision of chef owner Shannon Bennett.
Prior to joining the Vue de monde team five years ago, Andy worked in several Michelin star restaurants in Europe including ‘Le Crayers’ in Reims, France, ‘Paul Heathcotes’ in Northern England and Gidley Park in Devon (his home town).
Andy is passionate about sourcing the best local ingredients and as he now calls Australia home he is ever in search of the best produce on offer.
